This program allows students hands-on practice classifying an assortment of minerals, allowing your group to discover mineral’s amazing properties and stories.
Activity
This program is delivered in our GeoLab. Students will spend the majority of their time exploring specimens on their own, with our program facilitator available to answer questions.

Kindergarten: Humans interact with matter everyday through familiar materials.
Grade 1: Matter is useful because of its properties. We shape the local environment, and the local environment shapes who we are and how we live.
